History / since1934
History of Okawa Screw Manufacturing dates back to 1934, when our founder Gisaburo Okawa established a small screw processing factory in Tokyo. Our cutting edge technology created a stable quality reputation, Quickly becoming a partner of a major automobile manufacturer, We began manufacturing stud bolts and other products. With the enthusiasm for manufacturing and the spirit of inquiry, the company became involved in the development and manufacturing of critical safety parts for automobiles, which require strict specifications. It is no exaggeration to say that our company's history of over 80 years has always been a series of challenges.
Technology / The Ultimate Cold Forming
Cold forming technology is to deform metal by pressure while maintaining a room temperature in the mold. Okawa Screw Manufacturing introduced the specialized machine "Parts Former" in Japan in1964 before anybody else, and has accumulated technical know-hows as a pioneer of cold forming. We established advanced mass-production technology which produces stable quality and excellent cost performance while simultaneously processing continuously up to 7 stages that require only slight cutting and polishing in the process. In 1998, we succeeded in developing cold forming to create the first integral molding technology for Japan's first brake hose end fittings

Starting with the establishment of the Thailand Factory in 1989, We have advanced globalization ahead of the automobile industry's future. We also expanded to Mexico in 2012. We deliver products of Japanese quality to customers all over the world.
Currently, where Okawa Screw Manufacturing is placing emphasis on is a growth strategy through the expansion of sales into regions of new markets. In order to realize that, we are working on active business development that provides high-quality, cost-effective products in a timely manner that will meet local needs.

Combining our cold forming which is extremely precise and strong, with a fast processing speed, as well as with our cutting and brazing processing. It is not only in the automobile industry that our metal processing technologies can be useful. Pursuing safety and peace of mind, or making the world more comfortable and convenient.
